a FEW FACTS ABOUT nutricula
Nutricula began as an idea of renovation. Nutricula itself was taken from the name "Turritopsis Nutricula" given to a Jellyfish whose properties seem to be immortal since their cells renovate when it is their time to die.
Much like the creature, Nutricula aims for continuous rejuvenation in an ever-changing and evolving industry.

Andrea Carvajal
Illustrator | Graphic Designer | Art Restorer
Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, and now based in Bristol, UK. I’m an illustrator, graphic designer, and art restorer with a passion for blending modern creativity with the preservation of cultural heritage.
My journey began in 2017, working in graphic design for a real estate agency, where I developed my eye for visual storytelling. Soon after, I transitioned into freelancing, illustrating children’s books and discovering my love for bringing stories to life through art.
I later pursued formal studies in Art, which led me to Florence, Italy, where I completed a Master’s degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the renowned Palazzo Spinelli School. There, I learned to carefully restore and preserve historical artworks while developing a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and history behind each piece.
Today, I combine my skills as both a designer and restorer, working on diverse projects that range from contemporary illustration to the meticulous restoration of historical artworks. My work is all about balancing creativity and precision—whether it’s crafting engaging visuals or breathing new life into cultural treasures.
